Good question, I'm not a native but not getting into grammar too much it does make the difference. Try to see thing from a different point of view. "Does it really interfere in meaning?" It all depends how well you want to speak English. If your only concern is the meaning, you can say stuff like "Tomorrow I go to school." or yet, "I go next year to Brazil"
Every soul who speaks English will get the meaning, but definitely is not the "proper" way to say it.
Go through your exercises, and soon enough, you WILL see how good your English is GOING TO get.
