Thanks Dale and Teacher I've learned a lot. I was impressed that what teacher said, "there aren't any "tuition free" colleges and universities in the U.S. There are scholarships for some students who can qualify."
That's why people are always saying that they have to save money for their children's college.
This is a different culture, my friends and I prefer to live with our family, it is more comfortable, more economical and safer. For us it is a trouble to live far from home and sometimes, share a place with strange people. I know some people that came to Rio to study at public universities and they complain a lot. They miss their room, the car they share with parents, their dog, the celebrations with their family, etc. Living in their parents' house while taking college is their dream, the opposite dream from college students in US .. They say to my sister : you have more time to study than us I wish I could live in my home, but there isn't college there.
Dale, congratulations on your son. Taking Medicine is really hard.
