That information is really useful ! Thanks Dale. This sentence I saw in a handout but it was written by a Brazilian, so I imagine that the person directly translated from Portuguese. That is the main problem when we study a foreign language in a country that speaks other language: the usage. Books don't tell us about usage of the language, only native people knows. I saw some books to teach Portuguese for foreigners but the sentences were really odd. People don't speak Portuguese in the streets like that ! At least in Rio .... |
