Hi, Has anyone here been to Vietnam? My son is going to work on Ho Chin Minh (former Saigon). He speaks English fluently but he doesn't have the slightest idea of the language spoken there. We don't have any information about the culture. I have already read on Wikipedia, but I wish I could hear from someone who has been there. Any tips? Is it possible to communicate in English in restaurants and other places? How about the food? Is there anything we should know in advance? |
