| Mensagem: | Until de 80's the Vietnamese society showed a strong resistance to the English language teaching in their country, especially because of their historical problems with the USA. However, recent governamental initiatives were taken in order to change that reality. On the other hand, the English teaching in Vietnam is still seen as secondary followed by poor teaching qualification. So, I believe that the vast majority of the population will not be able to speak nor understand English. |
