Got a story for you, Syd. Years ago I was visiting family Oregon. One night I was in a car with my brother and his son. As we drove along, my brother would say, "Last year there were some black guys over there." And a few moments later his son would say, "I often fine black guys over by that bridge." It sounded very strange to me. What was the big deal with black guys? Syd, several years later I realized they were saying "black ice". LOL It was not an expression I used because I was living in Los Angeles at the time and there was no ice there. When I loved to the San Bernardino Mountains, I had several one-on-one experiences with black guys. I mean, black ice. LOL |
