"Time waits for no one, that's "Time waits for no one, that's wahy can't wait for you."In fact, Noelle, it certainly could be in British English, in American English I think one would say something like ""Time waits for no one, that's why I can´t get waiting for you, I just can´t wait forever!" So, even when "wait on you" is used in the sense of "for you" it isn´t to mean long long waiting. My opinion here, anyway I would pick the examples and insights Thomas has given. |
