You are welcome, Andrea. We are glad of being of help. "Sorry about my insisting on that, but I can´t understand why I should invert the second part of the sentence and not the first one." To me, that would fall into the "convention category"; that is, it´s accepted usage or practice. So, all you would have to be aware is that with "not only" (one of the cases, just for comment´s sake) it "inverts" the "signal" of the sentence. I am making an analogy with Mathematics here. |
