Mensagem:  Most of the times this sound /ð/ is pronounced without any audiable friction and therefore we think we have heard a [d], but in fact native speakers put the tongue between upper and lower teeth or just behind the upper teeth and pronounce it without the characteristic of the /θ/. A fully fledged /d/ involves total closure and some quick tiem to release it.
