Today in the USA we celebrate a national holiday called "Memorial Day" during which we pay homage to the men and women who lost their lives in war. We also pay tribute to the veterans of the military services who are still alive. I just thought the readers of the EMB Forum would like to know that the honors rendered on this day include those valiant Brazilians known as FEBianos and the thousands of Brazilian sailors and merchant marine sailors who sailed the perilous seas of the Atlantic during World War II. |
