I do realize that the overwhelmingly majority of Brazilians have European, African and Indio forebears.
The problem is that the ones who classify themselves as Negro, Mestizo and Indio are drastically in a lesser social status when it comes to Salary, Education and Opportunity vis-a-vis the ones who classify themselves as Brancos.
And if I were an advisor to President Lula, I would tell him that he is morally obliged to use his powers to bridge the great social gaps between these groups.
