Mensagem:  Miguel, I have "Warriner's English Grammar and Composition". It says: past perfect: "had" + past participle ex: "I had gone" future perfect: "will have" or "shall have" + past participle ex: "we shall have gone" I wouldn't have been able to give (what tense is that?) examples for those terms without looking in the book. I never needed to know any grammar until I began to learn Portuguese. I guess some of these tenses don't really translate well, do they? It seems that Portuguese doesn't use the past participles in active tenses as much.
