Mensagem:  Pat, when I wrote that message I was actually in Alabama(the most dixie-crat place in america). At this time, I'm in Houston, Texas . As for the north/south argument, I would have to say that they are pretty much the same. As one great black social scientist once said, a "white northern is nothing but a hardened dixie-crat in desguise" Nevertheless, you must acknowledge that deragotory racial terms were used much more often and open in the south than in the north, regardless as to where they originated. And why do I get a feeling that you are taking the south's side?
