A word to the wise:
Although the slang term "that sucks" and the similar "that bites" are widely used they are crude and crass, not for polite or mixed company. Or so I have always believed.
They are both allusions to oral sex, even though so widely used, especially by the younger generations, that fact has been largely forgotten.
It is similar to the sexual allusion of the term "come" in Brazilian Portuguese. Nao um usagem para o educado, certo?
