Mensagem:  Great you've had a white christams, here we had a gray one, instead of our sub-tropical sun here in the interior of São Paulo, we had rain and a bit of cold. Well, so you've just met one false friend, in Portuguese the word 'costume' is 'custom' in English and the English word 'costume' in Portuguese means those special clothes. We largely use the verb "costumar" (even in the present forms), why don't you ask the neartest Brazilian or Portuguese to exercise this structure? Eu COSTUMAVA viver em Santos. =>I used to live in Santos. Meus pais COSTUMAVAM me levar à igreja todo domingo cedo. => My parents used to take me to curch every Sunday morning. José
