Mensagem:  Dean, I think your answer was excellent. If the fellow were working in the USA, it seems most likely that he would be working for OSHA. It makes sense to use an OSHA title and not a direct translation of the Brazilian term. I had a friend that was working in Alfenas (MG) doing some kind of safety related work, but I don't recall his job title. As I recall, he answered not to the fazenda owners but to another agency. I wish I would have listened more carefully to him. It must have been a state or federal agency, or maybe even one linked to the labor union. - Dale
