Today I needed to know the word in Portuguese for "working out" (doing exercises, stretching, lifting some light weights, using exercise machines, etc). The word "malhação" comes to mind. What's the good word for "working out" when you are talking about keeping fit (aerobics, running, weights, etc)?
Examples: I work out three times a week.
I like working out early in the morning because then I go to the office in a better frame of mind.
Working out doesn't have to be hard. Just get a routine and stick to it.
