Mensagem:  What's the meaning of getting on with somebody, in Portuguese? ................................................... dar-se bem com alguem How are you two getting on/along? (Como vao voces? Como vai o relacionamento de voces?) "To get along" is much more common than "to get on". ................................................... You will also see "to get on in years". It means "to grow older". Q: How is Uncle Henry? A: He's getting on in years. His hearing is bad and his eyesight is worse. ................................................... Caution! "to get it on with somebody" = to have sex with somebody
