Mensagem:  LIZ, This is your reply to Dale Dale, Let's see if I got it: - getting on Q - "How are you two getting on now that you are business partners?" A - "Our partnership is being great". - getting on with Friend A "Jill and Jack are getting on with each other". Friend B "I hope Jill doesn't get pregnant before she finishes high school now that she's getting on with Jack." Liz if you look at Dales first reply to you he stated that "getting on" signifies getting along with or in portugues " se dando bem com " So Liz your phrase : Friend B "I hope Jill doesn't get pregnant before she finishes high school now that she's getting on with Jack." Is wrong. As dale explained the right phrase to convey what you wanted to say is Friend B "I hope Jill doesn't get pregnant before she finishes high school now that she's getting IT on with Jack." P.S are you single? lets get on with each other in the chat room, no second intentions here, i don´t want to get IT on with you.
