Mensagem:  (My two cents are in parentheses.) I know it's perfectly correct to say: 'I love arts.' or 'I study arts.' (I would suggest "I love the arts." [I love music, theater, etc.] If you just mean art [watercolors, oils, portraits, etc.], then I'd say "I love art." "The arts" clearly refer to the fine arts, not just to painting landscapes.) But when I use 'arts' as an adjective, like in: 'arts teacher' or 'arts classes', is it OK to keep the 's'....or should I say 'art teacher'...'art classes'? (I do not recall ever hearing "arts teacher", "arts classes". etc. I can't imagine "arts" as an adjective. Art, yes. Arts, no.)
