Mensagem:  Ricardo, do you mean to say that degree of fluency or ability is fluid even for adult mono-linguals? I suppose perhaps if one was placed in total isolation that might be true (as in the classic loss of ability to speak after years on a desert isle), but in general it doesn't seem that one's ability in the native language changes much after a certain age or level of education. Even with increased education after perhaps 15-18 yrs old any change in day-to-day speech would probably be affectacious.
