Mensagem:  Neither my wife or I have ever heard anyone say "be supposed to" do anything. I think the "be" part is supposed to be an infinitive. The verb "to be" comes in front of the word supposed. Examples: John is supposed to brush his teeth four times a day. We were supposed to go into town but our car is out of gas. We are supposed to eat vegetables with every meal. They are supposed to study English daily. He isn't supposed to spend so much time in the EMB Discussion Forum because he learns bad words from Tom. Everyone's supposed to know at least 300 cognates by Friday. Get to work!!
