Mensagem:  My friends I need your help with some location words:

If I use "across from": The cinema is across from the supermarket.
Ok no problem it means that the cinema and the supermarket"estão de frente pro outro mas do outro lado da rua.
Could I have used that like this: The cinema is in front of the supermarket? "Eles ainda estão de frente e do outro lado da rua".
Is it correct to use like that? How can I use "in front of"?
Can you give me some examples please?
