Mensagem:  You should consider the student's answer. I was being "picky" and showing how the question can be interpreted. Based on the level of the students you can show them how the sentence can be perceived. Some people take everything very literally. There was a tv show about a guy from outer space who came to earth and was passing himself off as a human. However, he was also learning English at the same time. He didn't understand many things. When he would first meet people they would say "Howdy, shake!" (Oi, aperte a minha mão) and he would shake his whole body (sacudir o corpo enteiro). He had to learn what we really mean in statements and questions. Could the question have been more specific? Yes, especially if the teacher wanted to guide the students towards discussing certain things (classroom size, food, work load, teachers, physical plant, etc). Our schools are closed this week for Spring vacation. In the old days this is when the students were needed in the fields to plant seeds, hoe, plow, etc. Not too many actually go into the fields now except in the farmlands. Now they go to the beach or to the national basketball championships (March Madness). Then it's back to school for six more weeks before the summer vacation.
