Mensagem:  Check it out. Vá embora. No, check it out means to verify something. "Is there a new Ney Matogrosso CD in the store?" "I don't know. I'll check it out during my lunch hour." "Will there be enough flour to bake cookies tonight?" "I don't know for sure. Let me call home and check it out. My wife is at home now and will let me know if we have enough." Also, check it out means to take a book from the library. We check out books (using either a card system or a computer system). The phraseology "check out" probably comes from back when there was a list of books and if one was gone from the library the list had a check next to the name of the book. When it was returned the check mark was erased. Beat it. Vá embora
