Mensagem:  When we use the word "lot" it means a parcel of land dedicated to a house, a store or a larger business. Our subdivision is divided into 36 lots. Some people bought two lots and put their house in the middle of the two.

Garden plots are usually about three by ten meters in size and families are allocated one plot unless no one signs up for all of them. Then they can get a second. There is a movement to have people go back to eating healthy food and the municipal governments have learned that furnishing free garden plots helps people in many ways. They get to spend time together growing food, the kids learn about nature, the kids eat better, etc.
