Mensagem:  Sorry, I just notice the "stand up" part of your question. Being "stood up" (the phrase always takes the past tense) is the same as being blown off. Example: ALICE: "Why are you back so early? I thought you were going on a date with John." MARY: "Yeah, well I was waiting at the restaurant for two hours. He never showed up. I've obviously been stood up."
