Mensagem:  Jose Roberto, Keeping matters simple,I always worked out the subject to be the word or conjunction of words that alter the verb, when you change this subject from single to plural. Not being a grammarian, I wouldn't want to argue the matter. However I am curious now what the right definition of 'subject' would be?
