Mensagem:  On time x in time The exam was due to start at 12 o'clock and I managed to get there ON TIME. (At the precise moment the test would start.) The exam was due to start at 12 o'clock, I got an early train and got there IN TIME. (Before 12 o'clock.) In spoken English 'less' is day by day replacing 'fewer' with unit nous (countable nouns) but in tests like this, whenever you see an unit noun you've got to use fewer/a fewer. Fewer students came to class last Friday. We've got less money than I first thought. José Roberto
