Mensagem:  Tom, your explanation was very good! It reminds me the one about wash out x wash off.
As for to rinse (without prepositions) I´m still confused, though.
"THEN I RINSE MY WHOLE BODY". Why? What does it mean?

Hope you do not mind my corrections:
to wring (out)= torcer
trunk= porta-malas do carro
