Mensagem: It´s in my student´s english test they have to complete with visit and win/take: I might VISIT Spain if I WIN/TAKE the trip to Portugal. Doesn´t sound strange WIN THE TRIP?
Is there a contest involved? You can only win a trip if there is a contest. The trip would be the prize (premio).
So, if there is no contest then the correct answer is TAKE the trip to Portugual.
If a person goes to Portugual (from Brazil or any other place) it makes sense to spend a little more money and go on and visit Spain.
Make sense? Of course, not too many of the people from the forum would go to Spain. They would stay in Portugal and visit Johannes so they could practice their fine English idiomatic expressions.
