Mensagem:  The trunk is the part of the body between the crotch and the neck, the torso. It's the part of the body excluding the arms, legs and head. That having been said just to confuse you....trunks are brief shorts, loose-fitting or tight, worn by men chiefly for boxing, swimming and track. They usually have no belt but are held up by an elastic band sewed on at the waist. Rocky worn trunks in the movie about boxing. Don't forget.....there is also the verb "to pant" as in this sentence: The dog panted after running across the field.
