Mensagem:  Mensagem: This is something I found on the Internet: "call for tender" if it deals with a call for presenting tenders to a public company. A tender to me is a bid (uma proposta) and if a company makes a tender then they are proposing to do something for a fee. They are proposing a certain amount of work at a specific degree of quality for a quoted price. civil service examination -This is how it's called in UK/Ireland. Que tal "Government job selection" We say Civil Service Examination. Government job selection doesn't sound right. If you are in the government job selection process that might mean you are seeking a civil service job. It just isn't something I would say or expect to hear. Maybe someone like mrob can give us the non USA terminology.
