My favorite snack is French toast. I like it three layers high. I put lots of butter on it and then sprinkle confectioner's sugar on it. When I have it, I use maple syrup. It's hard to get maple syrup in Brazil. Once in a while they have it from Canada and sell it in small cans at the Carrefour. Some people like to make their French toast with pieces of stale bread from French bread (bisnaga) but I prefer making it with regular white bread (pão de forma). I sure wish it wasn't fattening!! |
