Mensagem:  "Have got" sounds very british to me. In this cases 'got' is a redundancy similar to the way 'do' often is, in "how do you do?" for example. Then we have constructions like "have you ever gotten?" (or 'have you ever got' for the Brits). "Have you ever gotten confused when speaking Portuguese?"
