Mensagem:  Tom According to your example, you don't use "the" when you say the name of the beach, right? ("I'm going to Copacabana beach", for example) But in Snow's example, the name of the beach wasn't mentioned. She just wrote: I'm going to (Sao Paulo) seaside. I thought Ana's explanation made a lot of sense, but as your opinion is always so important as a native speaker, I'm very confused. I know it's Snow's message, but now I'm curiuos... A big hug.
