Mensagem:  One of the most important things to remember when you go to Rio de Janeiro is not to take a large sum of money in the purse or wallet. You should leave the money in the hotel safe or with your houseguest.
On the other hand, there are a lot of places to visit: beautiful beaches, churches and famous landmarks.

When do we use "on the other hand"? Did I use it here correctly?
