Mensagem:  Ola Jose,

It seems that "devo" is equivalent to "must" or "shall", and "devia" and "deveria" to "should" or "would".

The relationship between SHALL and SHOULD is the same as between WILL and WOULD.

"I will go" (I intend to go, desire to go)

"I would go" (conditional; I will go -if it works out)

"I shall go" (I must go, nothing may stop me)

"I should go" (conditional; I feel a compulsion, I know it is best to go, but I may not)

"Would" essentially allows for the unforeseen, acts of God, while "should" allows for personal procrastination.
