Mensagem: | Hello People Miguel, I am following very hard your discussions on race and AAVE, which is always interesting. However, I'd like to ask you some questions... every worker is a modern slave? So the people who collect the garbage are slaves and have to rebel? Who is going to collect the garbage afterwards? Who is going to build houses? Even you, one day you've got to work, even a reasearcher or professor's work is still work, a "modern slave" of colleges or universities, when you work you see that you have to have this "rebel spirit" but the foot must be very firm on the ground, because selling our manpower is the only way to put some food in our mouths and our children mouths. I do agree with Pat, he knows that he's got to work and still he thinks about the surrounding world and has a posture and principles towards it, I think I, on my way, do the same. Please reply (even not always agreeing with you, you arise provoking questions). José Roberto |
