Lin, I took a look at the bow/stern "mapa mental", it seems to me that it is a way to memorize words adding meaning to them. They are examples of how to associate meanings. For example, when I was a teacher I used to associate the names of my students to things that were relevant to me, like: Paulo - same name of my brother, Alice - same name of the movie actress/and they look like, and so on. This is a thing we do everyday automatically. Think about it, when you memorize a telephone number, you memorize the number + the person + a characteristic as "my mother". I think we do not need a person to teach us to do something we already know and already do, but are not aware of it. Maria Valeska |
