|Assunto:||"oi" Is it the same that portuguese?|
I had never heard this word in English, but maybe what you meant was the following:
Main Entry: oy
Part of Speech: interjection
Definition: an exclamation of dismay or exasperation; also written oi; also called oy vay, oy vey
Example: It is snowing again! Oy!
Source: Webster's New Millennium™ Dictionary of English, Preview Edition (v 0.9.6)
Does it ring a bell? It is not the same as the Portuguese "oi" though.
