| Mensagem: | Ola Henri, Because where I live, almost all the foreign language speakers are Brazilian. There are some Spanish-speakers, but only a few. So it is a matter of practicality, not that I especially prefer Portuguese over Spanish (in fact, Spanish is easier for me to understand). There are virtually no native French-speakers here, and I wouldn't try to learn it anyway - it is too difficult. Also, French-speakers are notoriously intolerant of people trying to learn the language. I noticed that in Quebec. |
