Dear Sasasa, Mastering English pronunciation is no easy task. One can easily have a great command of the usage of the grammar and pass oneself as a native speaker when writing, however, your pronunciation might give you away easily if one single word is mispronounced when speaking. But do not worry much about pronunciation after getting familiar with the grammar since pronunciation is not so important at the beginning. what I would suggest you mate is buying a magazine called "speak up" and listen to the articles recorded on the CD that comes with the magazine and at the same time, read what is being said so you will know (or you´ll be likely to remember easily) how to pronounce some words when you face them or try to use them. It has worked for me and it might work for you as well. Remember that practice makes perfect so speaking as much as you can is also very important. All the best Sasasa Mauricio |
