Man, I know you are much cleverer than this, I know your methodology, but remember that you posted this message for a very likely Brazilian speaker, so in first place for a Brazilian is his mother tongue...Portuguese, than English (which by no means I dismiss its importance in today's world.) As a student I think you should use more adequate terms, you are a little contradictory, sometimes you defend the equal rights of the people and even draw to Marxism, then you sit and start saying that English is the language of the world and it's better than any other national tongue, this way in the past the amerindians were virtually exterminated or at least their culture, for people in no momemt respected or stopped to think about the richness of any culture...even the illiterated ones. Do you know or study anything about Sociology or Anthropology? What are your opinions about it? Please reply José Roberto |
