Maria is correct.  The word is pebble.  Also, it can be flintstone (when it's flint) or just "broken stone" if used in construction.


Britado, the adjective, is used for crushed stone or broken stones (construction terms).


A britador is a stone crusher or stonebreaker.  It's also called a stamp or stamping mill in some places because the machinery is similar to that used in stamping metal parts for automobiles.
