Mensagem:  Sarah, you beat me to the punch!  Just to confuse people, in English some nouns can be countable or uncountable according to the context.  Beer is uncountable, right?  There is nothing like ice cold beer.  We say "Give me some more beer."  But we also say, "There are six beers in the fridge."  Chicken is also uncountable.  We love chicken, especially when it's fixed Southern style.  But we tell people that there is a chicken crossing the road.  Anyway, I enjoyed reading your explanation.  Good work!
