According to Cambridge Dictionary:

>>>Moan (verb/noun)- to make a long low sound of pain, suffering or another strong emotion; ex.

He moaned with pain before losing consciousness.
"Let me die, " he moaned.

>>>Groan (verb/noun)- a deep long sound showing great pain or unhappiness; ex.

We could hear the groans of the wounded soldiers.
He looked at the piles of dirty dishes and gave a groan of dismay.

Hope it helps... =)
