Yes, that's the word.

If anyone wonders why I wanted to know this word in Portuguese it's because the Fuddy Duddy was here for a few days.

The Fuddy Duddy is a World War II B-17G airplane.  Go to:

to read about it.  I went to the airport and took pictures of it.  I also went inside and looked around the cockpit, walked through the bomb-bay on the catwalk, checked out the passenger area and did all of the tourist stuff.  The Fuddy Duddy went on a flight and I took pictures of the engines being started (big puff of smoke from the exhaust pipe when the engines first start......heavy sounds of old fashioned rotary engines filled the air).  I also got some good pictures of it landing because I left the ramp area and went outside the airport to a parking lot just south of the runway.  I posted one of the pictures on my fotolog.

I have a friend in São Paulo who loves B-17s.  I'm going to put all of the photos on a CD and send it to him.  That way he can have them in the full size and not just little jpegs sent over the internet.
