According to Michael Jacobs, Amigo Secreto is called Kriss Kringle or Secret Santa in Canada and some parts of USA. In England, he says there is no such tradition:
Kriss Kringle also means Santa Claus (Papai Noel), but the direct translation from the German expression is Christmas gift. I also found a website that claims that this game is called Criscringle in Australia:
Secret Santa seems to be more common, being defined in many places as the secret exchange of gifts at Christmas time.
I was quite surprised to see that nobody had figure that out so far... That's rare!
