I think your English comes across as pretty perfect.
If it is of any consolation after 40 years of speaking Portuguese , I still make the most stupid mistakes. Yet on the other hand I am very comfortable in the language, I know most of the giria,
I can play with the language and occasionally a dumb mistake comes out. Who cares? I understand everybody and everybody understands me. In English it is the same again, I make mistakes and so what ?
I believe that once you have reached a certain level the best way to further your knowledge is to read what ever you can lay your hands on.
Make it a habit of reading a weekly magazine and books , of the kind you fancy.
Ialso watch CNN and Sky News everyday here in Europe. That's half an hour per day, it keeps me informed and my ears trained.
On the Portuguese side I watch novelas and read books I think are interesting, like 11 minutos by another Coelho.
Out of curiosity what kind of course did you take in these 6 months and where?
All the best to you,
